CalFresh is California’s name for the federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP, formerly known as the Food Stamp program). CalFresh provides additional resources to put healthy and nutritious food on the table. The program issues monthly electronic benefits (EBT) that can be used to buy food at many markets and food stores, including farmers market.

Our bilingual team focuses on the most needed areas of our Counties, connecting families and individuals to CalFresh benefits by completing applications, advocating, and providing education to reduce fear and stigma associated with applying for benefits.
